We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker (PSW) to join our team and help us continue this tradition of excellence.

As a Personal Support Worker at Vistamere Retirement Residence, you will play a vital role in the well-being and comfort of our residents. You will be responsible for providing high-quality, individualized care to meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents. Your duties will include assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as providing support with mobility and exercise. You will also be expected to monitor and report any changes in residents' health status, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist residents with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide support with mobility, transfers, and exercises as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and report any changes in residents' health or behavior to the nursing staff.
- Participate in recreational activities and encourage resident engagement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of care provided.
- Foster a positive and supportive environment for residents and their families.

**Qualifications**:

- PSW Certification from a recognized institution.
- Previous experience working with seniors or in a healthcare setting is an asset.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
