From exploring the Rockies to discovering the best spots in Vancouver, we turn travel dreams into reality. **What You’ll Be Doing** As a Tour Guide, you’ll be the heart and soul of our tours, bringing Canada’s beauty and stories to life. Every day is different, filled with opportunities to: - Lead groups of diverse travelers on exciting tours through Western Canada, from the Rockies to the West Coast. - Share stories, fun facts, and insights into Canada’s culture, history, and landscapes. - Create a welcoming, fun, and safe environment for all travelers. - Handle logistics, manage schedules, and keep the group on track. - Build connections and lifelong memories with travelers from across the globe **Why You’ll Love It** - **Adventure-Packed**: Spend your days out in nature, exploring Canada’s most iconic sites and hidden gems. - **Great Perks**: Travel while you work, competitive pay, and opportunities to earn tips and bonuses. - **Work with a Team that Feels Like Family**: Join a friendly and supportive community of travel lovers and experts. - **Flexibility**: We offer full-time and part-time positions, so you can balance adventure with other commitments. - **Professional Growth**: Gain valuable leadership, communication, and cultural knowledge that can help you grow in the tourism industry. **What We’re Looking For** - Great storytelling skills - you know how to keep a crowd entertained. - Excellent people skills, with the ability to connect with travelers from all walks of life. - Excellent organisation, time management and communication skills - Be able to respond to changing conditions or unexpected events in a calm manner - Knowledge of history and the geography of Western Canada and the N-West US an asset - Additional entertainment skills, for example musical abilities is a big asset, but not required **Requirements**: - Valid BC Class 4 Driver’s License (or willing to obtain before the season starts). - Ability to work weekends and some evenings. - Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector) - We also work with Students - Occupational First Aid certification including CPR-C (or willing to obtain). - Fluent in English; additional languages are a bonus. **Ready to Start Your Adventure?** **Payment Structure**: Competitive wage based on experience and qualifications (to be discussed) Average of $20-25 p/h Step on Guides - Most Tours are based on a set tour rate Average of $22-30 p/h for Drivers and Driver Guides - Most tours are base on a set tour rate Training and Training Tours conducted at minimum wage **How To Apply** **Additional Notes** All potential hires are required to be able to get to departure points on their own.
