**The opportunity**
This opportunity is for a full-time Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist in London, ON, supporting individuals with disabilities through case management, career planning, and employment services.
**Responsibilities**
- Review referrals and client documentation provided by the referral source
- Provide case management services to individuals with disabilities seeking employment
- Develop and maintain individualized employment service plans
- Assist clients in identifying employment options through vocational assessments and career exploration
- Deliver employment readiness workshops tailored to various learning styles
- Conduct transferable skills analysis and labour market research
- Create customized resumes and cover letters
- Coordinate referrals and collaborate with external service providers
- Offer job development, job site analysis, and on-the-job accommodation support
- Provide motivational and employment counselling
- Maintain timely and accurate case notes and service reports
- Achieve client satisfaction, service delivery timelines, and employment outcomes
**Qualifications and experience**
- Bachelor’s degree and Return to Work Disability Manager designation, or RRP/CRVP certification (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 3 years' experience in vocational rehabilitation with individuals with disabilities
- Group facilitation/teaching experience an asset
- Strong understanding of vocational rehabilitation and career counselling methodologies
- Exceptional written, verbal, and customer service skills
- Excellent time management, organization, and teamwork abilities
- Proficient in MS Office; able to maintain accurate records and write reports
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
