**PURPOSE OF THE POSITION**:
The Electrical Department Manager manages the electrical department: team management, assignment, follow-up. He/she trains and ensures that the work performed is safe.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Manage the department teams including schedules, time sheets, assignments, etc
- Assign projects to teams according to priorities
- Ensure that the work is done safely.
- Train the employees of the team.
- Preparing scope of work and terms of reference documents, setting up and managing contracts for electrical projects
- Interpret plans, specifications, technical manuals and maintenance procedures
- Install and maintain three-phase transformers
- Verify the operation of electronic circuits
- Verify relay logic and integrated circuits of electronic and electrical circuits
- Install and maintain electric heating and lighting systems
- Install, calibrate, maintain and repair temporary diesel heating systems
- Complete maintenance reports
- Other related duties

**PREREQUISITES**:

- Electrical certification (electrician card)
- Experience with control systems and generators
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
- Experience in team management
