Clear health works to deliver 1:1 supports for those individuals requiring continued intervention to successfully remain at home and in their community. Behaviour Support Worker Job Description

Who you are:

- Understand resilience, adaptability and capacity to change as the client needs

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Involvement in the planning and implementation for each clients individualized care and behaviour support plan
- Provide hand on care for each client in a safe, respectful, effective and responsible manner
- Recognize each individual differences, values and beliefs
- Support each persons activity plan
- Demonstrate crisis intervention skills
- Promote an environment and program that is both supportive and nurturing

Qualifications and Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with children and youth with Different Abilities an asset
- Criminal Record Check including vulnerable sector check (Valid within 6 months)
- Current CPR & First Aid
- Valid drivers licence and personal Vehicle
- Clear and current driver’s abstract

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

Pay: $17.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

**Experience**:

- supportive care: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence and Personal Vehicle (required)
