Moulder Assistant

We are looking for a Moulder Assistant to join the Millshop department on the day shift. This is a full-time permanent position.

**Duties**:

- Help to organize tickets and workload
- Feed rough cut lumber into moulder
- Assist in daily tool switchovers on Moulders
- Assist with the maintenance of the Moulder
- Assist in keeping work area are clean and free from safety hazards
- Help identify and address problems as they arise
- Train as Back-up Moulder Operator
- Flex and cross train as required

**Requirements**:

- Effective organizational skills and the ability to manage workload
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written (in English)
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality
- Basic computer and math skills
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work as a member of a team while having the ability to work independently of direct supervision

***Assets**:

- Previous experience operating similar equipment
- Knowledge of Loewen quality standards
- Ability to interpret drawings
