**Job Summary**
The Roofing Estimator & Coordinator will play a key role in managing material takeoffs based on CAD drawings, calculating essential materials, and generating detailed Bills of Materials (BOMs) for each project. This position includes critical project scheduling, status updates, and managing team assignments through our ERP system, Asana. Working alongside Rob and Ricco, the role supports operations to ensure seamless execution and consistent project outcomes.
**Responsibilities**
- Conduct detailed analysis of CAD drawings to estimate materials such as shingles, drip edges, and vents, ensuring accuracy.
- Generate BOMs and purchase orders, coordinating closely with suppliers for timely material procurement.
- Oversee project scheduling and updates through Asana, managing work-in-progress and team allocations.
- Conduct risk assessments, prioritize tasks, and engage in effective decision-making to support project success.
- Serve as the liaison between clients and Bosco management, providing updates and addressing project inquiries.
- Lead coordination efforts with installation teams, reinforcing timelines and adherence to quality standards.
- Document project status and communicate key updates, schedule shifts, and material requirements to stakeholders.
**Experience & Skills**
- Minimum 2 years of experience in roofing estimating
- Proficiency with CAD software and ERP systems (experience with Asana is advantageous).
- Strong ability to interpret technical drawings with precision and keen attention to detail.
- Effective organizational, time-management, and communication skills, with experience balancing budgets and timelines.
- In-depth knowledge of building codes, industry regulations, and construction safety protocols.
- Proven decision-making and prioritization abilities in dynamic construction settings.
- Demonstrated leadership, with experience managing teams and fostering collaboration.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Architectural Technology, or a related discipline.
- Solid understanding of roofing materials, construction methodologies, and industry practices.
- Valid driver’s license with availability to accommodate variable work hours as required.
