About You / What We Are Looking For
You will also be responsible for the maintenance of a number of outdoor pools, spray parks and related park facilities, including identifying any equipment failures or problems. In addition, the Pool Maintenance Workers will direct the work of a group of staff in regards to pool maintenance and janitorial tasks. If you would like to utilize your knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry and building maintenance, and would like to lead a strong group of staff, we encourage you to apply
Qualifications
- Completed their high school supplemented by technical courses related to the work plus at least 3 years of related pool maintenance and repair experience. Please note that an equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered.
- Driver’s Licence for the Province of BC (with satisfactory driving record)
- Pool Operator’s Certificate.
- The ability to work evenings and weekends depending on operational needs is a requirement.
What We Offer:
This CUPE position has an hourly rate range of $31.97 - $37.56 (2024 rates). The rate of pay is based on a variety of factors including qualifications, knowledge, experience and skills.

Additionally, there is an opportunity to participate in an earned day off program. This position is based in Coquitlam.
