Warehouse Manger

**Job description**:
We are in search of a motivated and motivating warehouse manager. Someone who has great interpersonal skills that can train, motivate and guide their team. Someone that communicates efficiently and encourages their team.

This is an industry that has grown significantly over the years and will keep growing as many people are wanting to live healthier lives We service across Canada all health food stores, proshops, gyms and mass accounts. This is a very exciting and fulfilling field.

**Requirements**:
10 years experience

Warehouse Manager must be able to deal with general management, strategic planning and present ideas to improve procedures and productivity.

Organizing the recruitment and training of staff, as well as monitoring staff performance and progress.

Motivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met.

Must not only make sure that employees are regularly briefed, supervised and trained but also that any machinery is maintained, upholding health, safety and security in the work place at all times.

Duties
- Directing and coordinating the activities of the warehouse regarding the incoming/outgoing shipments of products to meet customer expectations
- Warehouse space optimization
- Responsible to ensure inventory accuracy and preforming cycle counts
- Ensuring stock levels are replenished
- Organizing delivery schedules and working with transportation companies
- Ensuring quality control
- Supervising staff, conducting performance reviews, and assigning specific duties
- Managing all safety issues in the warehouse;
- Recruiting new staff
- Providing training for new and current employees on work, safety and quality processes and procedures
- Responsible for organizing, maintaining and improving the housekeeping of all areas of the warehouse
- Responsible for keeping shipping materials in stock
- Regularly shopping around for better prices for shipping materials
- Propose strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures

Perform other duties as assigned

- Must be Bilingual
- Strong management and leadership skills, able to efficiently organize proper employee scheduling/hiring according to work
- Good organization skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Problem solving and team building
- Proactive critical thinking and positive attitude
- Capabilities of organizing the warehouse to be efficient especially with product placement
- Able to motivate a workforce and encourage strong teamwork.
- Hardworking, honest, punctual and reliable;
- Able to handle stress and meet deadlines on a daily basis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
