**Hours & Schedule**: This is position is part time (20 hours/week) with flexible scheduling during our Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-4:00 pm EST operating hours.

**Job Title**: Environmental Services Janitor

**Department**: Operations

**Job Purpose**: To maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation within the cannabis production facility to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and to support the production process.

**Key Success Factors**:

- Uphold and exceed safety and sanitation standards in designated work areas.
- Efficiently stock and restock workstations and personal protective equipment (PPE) stations.
- Comprehend and follow label instructions and chemical mixing formulations for cleaning agents.
- Manage sanitation inventory levels effectively for inventory optimization.
- Collaborate with the Management Team to develop and maintain robust sanitation programs.
- Adhere to and document all cleaning and sanitation processes, notifying your manager of any discrepancies.
- Follow all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to comply with Health Canada and other regulatory requirements.
- Assist in developing process improvements and revising SOPs, particularly those related to sanitation.
- Execute and oversee tasks to align with organizational schedules and timelines.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by your manager.

**Expectations**:

- Comfortable and familiar with working in a cannabis environment.
- Capable of physical activities including lifting, pushing, and pulling objects up to 30 kgs.
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed.
- Frequent use of hands, wrists, and forearms required.
- Comfortable working on step ladders and using various heights of equipment.
- Adherence to wearing required PPE (lab coat, safety glasses, hair nets, etc.).

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
