H.H.S. completes projects of all sizes and complexities, including multi-phase residential development, rock quarries and aggregrate production, and close-proximity precision blasting.

**Key Job Features**:

- The Crane Truck Driver is an integral part of our team’s success, supporting our team by ensuring equipment is on site on time
- Year-round work
- No long-haul driving - home every night
- Typical hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30am to 3:30pm

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Primarily responsible for moving drills and blast mats between sites and our yard
- Safe operation of the crane while loading and unloading; daily inspection of crane and rigging equipment
- Secure and transport loads in a professional manner and representing HHS to the highest standards
- Complete pre-trip truck inspections and perform routine maintenance (i.e. fluids, grease, interior/exterior cleanliness); notify mechanics when maintenance is needed
- Communicate with customers and other trades on construction sites
- Maintain contact with dispatch and work to resolve issues as they arise
- Compliance with WorkSafeBC regulations
- Maintain driver log
- Additional duties as assigned

**Must Haves**:

- Valid B.C. Class 1 driver's licence with satisfactory driving record
- Rigging experience
- Legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship for employment visa status
- Knowledge of transportation routes in South Island
- Show up on time
- Problem solver
- Ability to work safely and independently without constant supervision
- Must comply with drug and alcohol policies
- Must comply with vehicle use policies

**Not mandatory but considered an asset**:

- CraneSafe Level A Certification (HHS may train the right applicant that has a Level B certification or sufficient rigging experience)
- Forklift experience
