- Preparing and cooking a variety of authentic African dishes to the highest standards
- Ensuring food quality, taste, and presentation meets our exacting standards
- Maintaining a clean and organized work station and adhering to food health safety guidelines
- Contributing to menu development by suggesting new ideas and dishes
- Maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
- Supervising kitchen staff and helpers
- Previous experience as a Cook, preferably with a specialization in African cuisine
- Proficiency in creating authentic African dishes with a deep understanding of ingredient combinations and cooking techniques
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Excellent organizational skills, the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and ability to stand for extended period of time
