The Cloud Infrastructure and Operation Team requires an experienced Specialist, Infrastructure who will be reporting to the Manager of Cloud Infrastructure Services.

- Build, support and maintain infrastructure technologies and services, following operational and security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Maintain and improve the security, backup, and recovery strategies.
- Automate systems to improve efficiency and lower the human intervention time.
- Create and/or maintain documentation which includes build books, operating and maintenance procedures.
- Interact professionally with all levels of staff with your excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Provide guidance and knowledge to team members, and promote efficiency, productivity, innovations, and knowledge-sharing across multi-functional teams.
- Provide 3rd level support, liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
- Collaborate with Architect and Subject Matter Expert on implementation, optimizations and lifecycle management of infrastructure.
- Participate in rotational on-call duty and perform maintenance work outside of normal business hours.

**Here's what you need to have and master to get the job**
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Specialist, Infrastructure or in a similar role
- Quantifiable and proven experience with
- Windows Servers and related services including AD, GPO, DHCP, DNS, DAG
- Linux server (Ubuntu, RHEL)
- Proven scripting experience for automating repetitive manual operations.
- Exceptionally strong problem-solving skills to research, recommend, pilot, and implement solutions.
- Good understanding of network concepts like routing, dataflows, network protocols and services.
- Knowledge on hardware (rack and blade servers, SAN, routers, switches, firewalls) and data center management like power, cooling, airflow and cabling.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge in cybersecurity and identity management.
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff, business partners, and vendors.
- Ability to provide support on a flexible schedule when needed.
- Knowledge on the following technologies are an asset
- Vmware Cloud Foundation stack and components like ESXi, vCenter, vSAN, vCloud Direction, vCloud Availability, Aria Operations, Tanzu
- Veeam Portfolio
- Insfrastructure as code with Terraform
- Configuration management with Ansible, DSC
- Powershell, Python, C#
- Docker and Kubernetes
- Professional certifications
