**_RAPS is Seeking an Alternating Weekend Caregiver to Assist an Individual with MS (S17) _**
**_Location: South East Edmonton (Bonnie Doon)_**
**_Days: Alternating weekends (Saturday & Sunday)_**
**_Hours: 5:00pm-9:00pm_**
**_Rate of Pay: $19.00/Hour _**
**_Job Description: _**_Duties include but are not limited to _one-person manual pivot transfers, personal care (including: changing incontinence products, and dressing), range of motion exercises, medication administration, simple meal preparation, light housekeeping (including wiping down wheelchair), possible outings (transportation through DATS). _
**_Please note: 2 friendly dogs in the home requiring minor care (Filling food/water bowls, let dogs in/out of house)_**
**_Qualifications and Other Requirements: _**_Recent criminal record check including the vulnerable sector, _reliable transportation, and be able to perform one-person pivot-transfers. Applicants must be able to communication in clear fluent English, and must be vaccinated against Covid-19. Previous experience in the health care field (minimum 6 months), or a Health Care Aide Certification (equivalencies may be accepted) is considered a strong asset._
