**Wash Bay Attendant**

Do you prefer a position that is hands-on instead of working from a desk? Would you like a shift rotation that allows time off to do the things you enjoy like skiing or snow boarding? PWTransit may have the position for you We are currently seeking a full-time Wash Bay Attendant to join our team in Whistler. **This position is full-time, working 12-hour days on a 4 day on/4 day off rotation which will include working late nights and weekends. Hourly rate of pay is $23.66.**

**Duties**:
Responsible for the fueling and cleaning of the interiors and exteriors of all company vehicles.
- Clean the interiors and exteriors of various vehicles as determined by the Company
- Fuel and check all fluid levels as determined by cleaning and fueling procedures
- Clean interior / exterior of bus advertising and back lighting, report any interior lights that are not working; replace interior & exterior advertising signs when instructed to do so
- Requires some lifting when “dumping” the cash container into the vault.
- Perform a “pre-trip” a bus for another driver
- Miscellaneous general facility cleaning duties, dumping trashcans and washing floors when assigned
- Cleaning engine compartments, undercarriages, wheels, and vehicle parts cleaning

**Qualifications**:

- Must have a Class 5 driver's license or higher
- Airbrake endorsement considered an asset
- Ability to understand, speak, and write English in order to communicate effectively with the traveling public and to report on incidents involving safety and/or service
- No criminal convictions or pending charges relating directly to the Wash Bay Attendant position

Selected applicants will be required to participate in a comprehensive recruitment process which consists of interviews, drug and alcohol screening, criminal record and reference checks.
