**The Opportunity**

The Kitchen Steward is responsible to maintain a safe, sanitary workplace while performing dishwashing and general kitchen cleaning duties.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Performs dish ware-washing duties.
- Maintains a clean and sanitized work area.
- Completes daily/weekly cleaning duties to support the activities of the Main Kitchen.
- Receives and stores food and supplies to support the Dietary Services Department
- Safe Food Handling Certificate and commitment to maintain/renew based on Public Health’s requirements.
- Vulnerable Sector Search Criminal Record Check.
- Able to work independently and part of a team.
- Must be able to work, days, evenings, and weekends as required.
- Must maintain an up to date immunization record including COVID-19 vaccination series, annual influenza and TB screening

**What We Offer**
- Full Time, 75 hours bi-weekly, hours are from 6am to 2pm and 11:30am to 7:30pm and include alternate weekends.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.02 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
