We are looking to fill a permanent position of **Inside Sales Representative **at our Dayvan office and showroom (North York, Ontario), a division of Richelieu.

**Position Overview**:
We are seeking an experienced Inside Sales Representative dedicated to a career in the hardware industry. Your role will consist of answering customer phone calls and working with customers in the contractor and retail showrooms, sharing accurate information and product knowledge, ensuring exceptional service and customer satisfaction, while delivering Best-in-Class experience. Provide support to the external Dayvan Sales team contributing information, knowledge, and ideas, as well as keeping Management informed of key developments.

**More specifically, your main tasks will be**:

- Making outbound calls to existing customers currently assigned as house accounts,
- Preparing accurate price quotations to respond to external inquiries from customers,

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or Degree in Business, Sales & Marketing, or Customer Service (any combination of training and/or experience judged to be equivalent will be considered).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position.
- Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office)

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in a customer facing sales role working in a fast-paced multitasking environment; working at a contractor’s desk in a lumberyard or one of the big box stores would be valuable.
- Strong communication (written and oral) and presentation skills.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal skills, confidence; comfort with both telephone and in-person contacts, and proven ability to create business relationship.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Good aptitude in analyzing issues and proposing solutions.
- Natural curiosity for how things work together and an aptitude for tools and hardware.
