**Job Duties**
- The instructor will be responsible for program delivery, student management and support primarily in the fields of Natural Resource Management, Soils. Instructors must have excellent field skills, recent/relevant field experience, strong interpersonal skills, experience and/or aptitude for delivering post secondary technical programming, and the ability to work as a member of collegial working group of professional natural resource management instructors.

1. Preparing and delivering lessons, lectures, and demonstrations.
2. Supervising students in classroom and laboratory.
3. Evaluating students using examination, assignments, observations of field skills and recording progress.
4. Selecting, designing, updating and constructing training aids.
- QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE

**Specific Accountabilities**

**Duties**

**Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities (QSA)**
- 1. Technical diploma or university degree in Biology, Environmental Science or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
2. Recent relevant experience in the resource management sector (soils).
3. Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, database and internet software.
4. Strong working knowledge of Natural Resource management principles and skills.
5. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to work with people from equity groups.
6. Demonstrates valuing diversity.
