Excel Transportation is looking for a Experienced fork lift operator with cross dock experience

Monday to Friday

3:30pm -11:30pm
- handles, transports, loads and/or unloads freight of all kinds using a variety of material handling equipment
- performs inspection of all freight during the stripping process and cross reference bills to the shipment;
- must scale all stripped freight prior to staging
- ensure freight is staged in correct location as per the bills or manifest;
- initial bills once inspection is complete;
- record any discrepancies on the bills and notify supervisor immediately;
- ensure that freight is properly identified;
- must maintain a safe and orderly workplace and report any unsafe acts and conditions, accidents and injuries to the immediate supervisor;
- once unloading is complete, clean (sweep) out trailer of any debris, dirt, etc;
- remove placard trailers as required;
- responsible for safety and maintenance of the warehouse by sweeping the floor and proper storage of dunnage;
- take pictures of damaged freight;
- perform and record daily inspections of forklift prior to usage;

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
