**ABOUT THE ROLE**

This position supports the Donor Support and Database Management Team functions. Under direction of the Team Manager, this position responds to incoming donor enquiries, processes donation transactions, maintains database donor records and prepares frequent electronic and paper mailings to donors. This role requires excellent communications skills (oral/written) and a sharp eye for detail and accuracy. Initiative, independent work style, and excellent time management skills are a must.

**CORE RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Donor Support**
- Answer and direct all incoming calls
- Update donor database records and keep details current
- Coordinate electronic and paper-based mailings
- Provide exceptional customer service to our supporters

**Donation Processing and Database Maintenance**:

- Record and process all cash, cheque, and credit card donations received
- Import online gifts and process recurring committed EFT gifts
- File supporting gift documentation
- Update database records
- Support database manager with report generation
- Manage workload efficiently, prioritize tasks to meet deadlines, actively contribute to Team objectives

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Proficient with MS Office Software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong English language communication skills
- Customer Service attitude
- Accurate keyboarding
- High level of attention to detail
- Effective time management, initiative

**DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ATTRIBUTES**:

- Knowledge of database concepts
- French language skills
- Experience with Raiser’s Edge fundraising software (or other CRM systems)
