Under the authority of the Electrician & Shop Manager, the Electrical Apprentice must assure an efficient production in electrical Services for all Shop and Field services (in collaboration with the operation team), Preventive maintenance, Service calls, Shop work, Inventory, Ordering of materials, Work order forms and day to day planning of activities including the following elements:
**Role and responsibilities**
- Repair and replace damaged or worn parts;
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical malfunctions using various test instruments;
- Fabricate electrical components;
- Travel as needed to accommodate operation needs;
- Dismantle and reassemble equipment;
- Operate and inspect to diagnose defects;
- Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications;
- Read and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings;
- test equipment to ensure operating efficiency;
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, or components, using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem;
- Responds to routine and emergency calls for repairs and service;
- Supply required information and documents;
- Assure proper information on work orders are properly filled out;
- EXEMPLARY attitude;

**Salary**: $20.00-$27.00 per hour
