Ulnooweg’s Coordinator, People & Organizational Culture oversees the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and contributes to the day-to-day operation of the People & Organizational Culture services. The Coordinator ensures accurate and timely service across Ulnooweg by responding to routine employee inquiries and bringing a systematic approach to team activities. Ulnooweg has an unrivaled organizational culture; the Coordinator will contribute to the positive experience by providing high quality service, modeling inspirational conduct, continuously learning and staying knowledgeable about current trends and the sociopolitical climate.
We are growing Ulnooweg’s People & Organizational Culture team. As part of this newly created position, this individual will work closely with the Manager, People & Organizational Culture. This individual will provide Ulnooweg’s People & organizational Culture service across the company’s multi-entity organizations.

Duties & Responsibilities
HRIS administration, from data entry to reporting, you are a key agent in building Ulnooweg’s HR metrics.
- Maintain accurate and updated records in hard copy and/or electronic
- format ensuring confidentiality and security of all information according to policy and data protection regulations.
- Coordinate the recruitment process and on boarding process; screen resumes, schedule interviews, conduct background checks.
- Initiate the welcoming process for all new employees.
- Address employees queries regarding policies, benefits and other HR matters as appropriate.
- Support the production and implementation of surveys and policy compliance checks.
**Qualifications**
- Education Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field with relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience in an HR environment responsible for employee records and various HR processes and transactions.
- Familiarity with HR software required.
- Experience with BambooHR an asset.
- Excellent computer skills with strong capability in MS Office Suite.
- Understanding of sourcing and social media platforms is an asset.
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities and multiple projects at once
- Great communication skills, attention to detail, demonstrated professionalism, judgment, diplomacy, and tact.
- Ability to work under tight timelines and pressure.
