- Rate of Pay: $16.21/hr. to $17.41/hr.
**Locations**: Various Schools within the Chignecto-Central Regional Center for Education
- Geographical Area: Pictou County, Cumberland County, Municipality of East Hants and Colchester County
**Requirements**:
- A diploma or degree in early childhood education from a recognized institution.
- Recent experience (within last 5 years) working with pre-school children in an early learning environment; and,
- Current certification in First Aid/CPR-C
All employees require a criminal record check of the vulnerable sector. The CCRCE requires an original check dated within six (6) months from your date of hire. If you are selected for hire you will be provided with a letter from the CCRCE to take your local Police/RCMP Detachment to have this check completed.
All employees also require a child abuse register check. The CCRCE requires an original check dated within six (6) months from your date of hire.
The criminal record check of the vulnerable sector along with the child abuse register check will be reviewed in accordance with the CCRCE policies and procedures.
