**Inventory Control Manager**

**Position Responsibilities**
- Coordinate and manage daily physical and perpetual cycle counting efforts.
- Report, monitor and review daily inventory adjustments and changes.
- Resolve inventory issues and discrepancies, problem orders, and intercompany transfer issues.
- Conduct daily analysis to anticipate and resolve potential inventory problems.
- Work with Corporate Inventory Control Manager on root cause analyses and resolving inventory control problems.
- Report on inventory activities, changes and variances, including trends and root cause analysis.
- Work with Quality Manager to process and resolve product quality issues.
- Develop reports, inventory control procedures, and best practices.
- Train distribution and receiving managers on inventory control practices and procedures.
- Recommend process changes to minimize inventory loss.
- Lead, develop and mentor inventory team.

**Minimum Requirements**
- High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree **preferred.**
- 3 - 5 years experience in inventory, distribution and operational procedures.
- 1 - 2 years managerial or supervisory experience.
- Product receiving experience **a plus.**
- Ability to multitask and work independently with precise detail and follow-up reporting.
- Demonstrated leadership, analytical and communication skills.
- Solid understanding of distribution environments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- AS400 and Oracle EBS experience **a plus.**
