Excel Jewellers has been in business since 2000. We specialize in diamond engagement rings and wedding bands. We have a master goldsmith on site that provides in-house jewellery repairs and custom designs. In addition we also carry many top international brands like Verragio, SimonG, Gabriel & Co., GIA certified and Canadian Certified Diamonds.

We are looking for a jewellery sales consultants for our luxury jewellery store in Langley. We offer hourly wage, bonuse and medical/dental plan.

**Responsibilities**:

- Set and achieve personal sales goals while supporting the goals of the team.
- Greet customers in a timely, professional and engaging manner.
- Build lasting relationships with customers by contacting them to follow up on purchases, repairs, custom designs, suggest new merchandise and invite them to upcoming events.
- Educate customers while exceeding their shopping experience expectations.
- Consistently seek new product knowledge to act as an expert for the customer
- Work as a team player to ensure each client has the best shopping experience.
- Consistently seek new clients by reach out to family, friends and the community.
- Perform daily tasks including stock count, merchandising, jewellery and display cleaning and some office duties.

Job Requirements:

- Must have min. 1 -2 years retail sales experience. Jewellery sales experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work effectively using computer POS.
- Must have high school education. Must know how to type on a computer and have good written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be a quick learner, organized, accurate and detail oriented.
- Ability to provide top notch customer service with excellent communication and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work well with others, multi tasking with mínimal supervision.
- Require to work a flexible schedule based on business needs. Monday - Saturday, 9:30 am - 6:00 pm, off Sunday and statutory holidays. May require to work in the evenings 2 weeks in December.
