**Position Overview**:
If you are looking for an opportunity to gain experience working in the public sector, Seine River School Division may
be the right place for you As the Finance Manager, you will oversee the general operation of finance, accounting,
accounts payable, and payroll functions. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Finance Manager is responsible
for ensuring division processes, administration, and financial management are followed. The Finance Manager also
prepares financial reports and forecasts, oversees the year-end audit, and financial statement presentation, monitors
financial details to ensure legal compliance, and analyzes revenues, expenses, cash flows, and balance sheets.

The Finance Manager reviews and processes payments, maintains accurate filing and record-keeping systems for all
financial statements and company documents and participates in the execution of changes to procedures, policies,
and financial systems to ensure compliance. The Financial Manager oversees and directs payroll procedures, ensuring
compliance with law and tax obligations, supervises the payroll team and maintains accurate payroll records.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field**
- Minimum five years of progressive experience in finance and payroll
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis techniques, and payroll processing procedures
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels

of the organization
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all

levels of the organization
- Detail-orientated with a commitment to accuracy and compliance
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation, or willingness to pursue the designation
- Supervisory experience is considered an asset
