Réseau de l’information (ICI RDI) is seeking a Reporter/Editor to work in its Montreal newsroom.
Your role
As a Reporter/Editor, you must be able to write clearly and accurately on news stories and social issues, in accordance with corporate standards and practices.
This is a permanent full-time position. As an indication, this person will be required to work weekdays and/or weekends, evenings and days, on a variable basis. Schedules will change according to operational needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent- Three (3) years’ journalism experience
**Skills**:
- Extensive general knowledge- Excellent knowledge of current events- Strong television writing skills- Experience in digital journalism is an asset- Strong knowledge of editing and production techniques for TV newscasts is an asset- Ability to analyze, synthesize and think critically- Superior French language skills- Proficiency in English (reading and speaking) is an asset- Understanding of CBC/Radio-Canada’s Journalistic Standards and Practices- Ability to work well under pressure- Ability and willingness to work evening and weekend shifts- Interview
