Little Current, Canada Fisher Wavy Inc. Full time

Fisher Wavy is looking for a hard and independent worker to join our team on Manitoulin Island as a full-time Farm Hand. We have both full-time permanent and part-time seasonal positions with the opportunity for a contract extension for part-time. Both full-time and part-time positions come with competitive benefits and compensation package.

This position would be a great fit for someone retired looking for some extra income or someone who enjoys working independently outdoors.

**Job Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Maintain property including but not limited to: mowing the lawn, cutting down trees when required, etc.
- Operate and maintain boats, docks, etc.
- Tend to farm cattle (knowledge of farm animals is considered an asset)
- Other duties as assigned

**Job Qualifications**

**Education**
- A Highschool diploma is an asset but not required
- Valid G Drivers License is an asset but not required
- Chainsaw Safety Certification is an asset but not required
- Boating License is an asset but not required

**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**:

- Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion when provided with instruction
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written with supervisors
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
- Knowledge of cattle and farming is an asset
- Knowledge of farm equipment and maintenance required for vehicles like tractors, lawn mowers, and loaders is an asset
- Knowledge about boating, water and dock maintenance is an asset
- Must be willing to adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Must be able to maintain a clean work environment and provide cleaning of motor vehicles & equipment
