**Position Overview**

We're seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to join our growing team. This role is crucial to our continued expansion as we handle projects ranging from single day jobs to 6+ month long projects. Serving construction companies, builders, telecom companies and commercial/industrial manufacturing businesses.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare accurate electrical estimates and quotes for commercial, industrial, and residential projects
- Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Collaborate with project managers and field crews to ensure estimate accuracy
- Utilize McCormick Electrical estimating software for complex projects
- Maintain relationships with suppliers to secure competitive pricing
- Support the 3-stage follow-up process (3-4 days, 7 days, 14 days)
- Assist with material procurement and project planning
- Assist with post-job back costing to ensure projects are hitting the intended targets

**Required Qualifications**
- 3+ years of electrical experience
- Estimating experience
- Proficiency with electrical estimating software (McCormick Electrical preferred)
- Strong understanding of electrical codes and regulations (CEC knowledge essential)
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
- Proficiency in reading electrical drawings and specifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience with commercial and industrial electrical projects
- Knowledge of Manitoba electrical codes and permit requirements
- Familiarity with QuickBooks and McCormick's project management software
- Experience working with general contractors and construction companies
