We are seeking a 3rd Year or Journeyman level Automotive Technician to join our team at Our Mechanic Inc. This role is essential in ensuring that vehicles are maintained and repaired to the highest standards, contributing to our reputation for excellence in automotive service.
**Our pay plan provides a monthly guaranteed wage plus performance bonus.**
- **Responsibilities**_
- Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshooting on various vehicle systems.
- Utilize hand and power tools effectively to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed for repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to guide repair processes.
- Weld components when necessary for repairs or modifications.
- Assist with heavy lifting during vehicle repairs or part installations.
- **Requirements**_
- **At least 3 years'** experience as an automotive technician.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various positions.
- Must be a willing team player and provide assistance when required.
The successful applicant will be a licensed Journeyman technician or 3rd Year Apprentice with a strong diagnostic skills and ability to do a variety of repairs. We work on a very diverse range of vehicles from domestic to imports, Gas, Diesel, and the occasional hybrid vehicles.
Pay: $28.00-$45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
