**Shop Labourer - Student Position**

Term: Part Time, Casual

Location: Lloydminster, AB.

**Salary**: $20.00/hour

Hours of Work: Day Shift, After School Hours until 6pm

Based out of Regina SK and Lloydminster AB, Marksmen Vegetation Management Inc. provides industrial locations with vegetation control. We are a growing, expanding company providing over 29 years of service to our clientele. At Marksmen we are dedicated to providing high quality customer service.

**Primary Role**:
Reporting to the Operations Manager or the Mechanics, the Labourer is responsible for completing daily assigned tasks and daily field activities by operating shop equipment and tools, as deemed competent, in order to meet client goals and expectations. If the Mulching Operations Manager is not available at any time, the Labourer shall report to the AB Operations Manager.

**Job Description/Responsibilities**:

- Working inside a shop environment
- Part ordering, maintenance record paperwork
- Required to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Assist with maintenance and repair of company vehicles, semitrucks, equipment and heavy-duty equipment.
- Assist the Heavy-Duty Mechanic with duties and tasks.
- Maintain good housekeeping in the shop.
- Maintain shop organization of tools and shop equipment.
- Follow, know and understand all applicable company policies, practices and procedures
- Work in accordance with the Marksmen HSE program.
- Comply with the Occupational Health & Safety Act and all relevant regulations.
- Worker must be fit for duty, remain fit for duty, physically fit enough to perform the job safely efficiently.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Class 5 driver’s license
- The ability to demonstrate road experience with various vehicles and equipment is an asset.
