5 Ton Driver

Well, you’ve gotten this far, how about I tell you about our compensation package? You’ll be paid $20/hr, you will get 5 paid personal days per year, and your birthday off paid

**What does a 5-Ton Driver do?**
- General P&D activities such as: safe driving, hand bombing, related paperwork, customer service
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with Dispatch and Customers
- Report all incidents and safety hazards in a timely manner to the supervisor or Dispatch

**Nice to haves**
- 1-year experience driving a Five-Ton Truck
- Air brake certification required by 90 days
- A clean driver's abstract
- Experience driving a manual transmission required
- Experience using power jacks, an asset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly required
- Knowledge of reefer settings & food temperature hauling requirements, an asset
- Knowledge of local roads & highways, an asset
