**Job Title: DISHWASHER**

**We are recruiting for twelve (12) Steward - Dishwasher positions (NOC 6711)**. The positions are full-time 30-40 hours per week, permanent with an hourly rate of $17.50. Overtime may be necessary as required paid at time and half. The position may work night shift; there is a shift premium when scheduled to work night shifts as a Night Cleaner.

**Job duties**:

- Wash chinaware and glassware in the dishwasher
- Sort and wash all cutlery
- Proper storing of all cutlery and china in appropriate places
- Proper use and storage of chemicals
- Keep area clean at all times - e.g., sweep and mop as needed
- Ensure handling of tableware is safe to reduce breakage
- Wash all pots and properly store them
- Report all safety hazards and reduce accidents
- Setting up event function requests - e.g., plate orders, chaffing dishes
- Maintain strong interdepartmental communication with kitchen and service teams
- Other duties as assigned

**Employment Experience and Educational Requirements**:

- Previous experience an asset, but not required
- Dynamic, enthusiastic individual who thrives under pressure and is able to perform multiple functions
- Must be highly Health and Safety conscious, dedicated to maintaining a safe work environment
- Must be a team-player
- Ability to work shiftwork
- Must be able to handle a variety of tasks at one time, using good organizational skills
