**Position Title**: Dishwasher

**Location**: the Stubborn Goat Gastropub

**Job type**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary Range**: $16.00- $18.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Legendary Hospitality in the heart of Downtown Halifax are looking for dishwashers to join our team at the Stubborn Goat Gastropub. We are looking for a passionate hard working individual to join our kitchen teams. With core values focused around the people we employ and the customers we serve, we are looking for like-minded individuals.

**Responsibilities**
- Properly wash and sort dishes
- Set-up dish stations, including dish machines and sinks
- Maintaining inventory for cleaning and sanitizing products and communicate to Chief Steward
- Maintain the kitchen, workrooms, storerooms and equipment for cleanliness and order
- Responsible for proper disposal of venue waste
- Be an integral part of the Legendary guest experience

**About you**
- 1+ years experience an asset
- A working knowledge of cuisine is an asset but not necessary
- Must be punctual, reliable, have ability to work as a team and independently and have a strong work ethic
- Advanced english language skills

**Work Environment**
- Physical demands include walking and standing, bending, kneeling, repetitive twisting and lifting, and repetitive arm movements
- Must be able to lift 40lbs
- Uniforms and PPE provided by LHG must be worn during work hours

**Work Authorization**
- Must be authorized to legally work in Canada

**Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Weekend availability
