Desktop Support Technician

**Responsibilities**:
- Perform desk moves and workstation setups, including reconnecting IT equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktop computers, laptops, monitors, desk phones, and printers.
- Provide basic network and connectivity support (wired and wireless).
- Log, track, and manage incidents and service requests using the client's ticketing system.
- Assist in hardware installation, configuration, and replacement as needed.
- Coordinate with other IT teams for escalated support or specialized tasks.
- Ensure end-user satisfaction through effective communication and timely issue resolution.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and assets handled.
**Requirements**:
- 2-4 years of experience in deskside or end-user support.
- Basic understanding of networking principles and AV equipment.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move equipment as needed for desk moves and setups.
- Flexibility to work onsite and adapt to changing priorities.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract, Freelance
Contract length: 1 month
Pay: $21.68-$34.08 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

- Burnaby, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
