BC Assessment is currently looking for a Product Support Analyst to join the Customer division. The Product Support Analyst primarily assists customers by delivering services, understanding and responding to user requirements, and recommending changes to processes and systems in response to customer needs.
This is an 8-month temporary opportunity, great for someone looking to gain experience and knowledge within our products and services. You will have the opportunity to interact with almost all of the departments within BC Assessment and gain valuable insight into how our work gets done
What will I do?- Receive and respond to client enquiries and requests regarding BCA products.- Develop new reports for customers, analyzing business needs and data availability; ensuring compliance to contractual, FOI and legislative requirements.- Participate in initiatives to develop new or amended property information products or services including analyzing the potential impact, evaluating options and presenting recommendations to ensure compatibility with organization goals and objectives.- Analyze the impact of enhancements or developments of products/services on the organization.- Research, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing report procedures and systems and recommends improvements to these processes and systems.- Work directly with decision makers and end users to understand, define, and document current and possible future reporting goals, needs, and requirements.- Conduct testing and verification of assessment notices, assessment rolls and other core products and services.

You are a strong communicator and have exceptional customer service skills. You must have the ability to respond well to tight timelines and multiple requests at the same time. You need to have excellent attention to detail, strong grammar and vocabulary as well as an ability to anticipate customer and organizational needs to adapt to changing requirements. Most importantly, you are a team player with a great personality, who sees the strength in working together as one cohesive unit to deliver results.
This position is included in the bargaining unit. BC Assessment intends to establish an eligibility list for this competition.- Location: Victoria, BC - Uptown- Compensation: $53,287.74 - $62,690.40Education- Undergraduate degree in information management, commerce, business administration, public administration or equivalent- Courses or training in business analysis- Courses or training in customer relationship management an asset
Experience
1+ years recent, related work experience including:
- experience in a high-demand, client-focused work environment- experience working effectively with internal and external stakeholders/clients- experience identifying and recommending client product improvement initiatives
Note: An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
