Front Desk Agent - Best Western Sunrise Inn & Suites/Stony Plain Inn & Suites

Job Summary**:
As a team our goal is to create an unforgettable, picture-perfect experience for our guests. Your role in that goal is very important At Best Western Sunrise Inn & Suites, our Guest Service Team wears most of the hats of a traditional hotel - from reservations specialist to activities director; we do it all.

Job Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the Check in and Departure of hotel guests;
- Answer the hotel phone, both internal and external calls;
- Be an expert on local and onsite services and be able to provide information about them;
- Use accurate accounting and cash handling procedures;
- Respond promptly and appropriately to guest requests;
- Communicate very effectively with all other departments within the hotel;
- Maintain an accurate inventory of rooms, reservations, and room assignments;
- Represent the culture of Best Western Sunrise Inn & Suites and Stony Plain Inn & Suites and build repeat guests;
- Perform other related duties as required by the Guest Service Manager;
Qualifications:

- A passion for customer service and a strong attention to detail;
- Energetic, flexible, reliable, respectful, hands-on individual with initiative and integrity;
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced work environment;
- Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills;
- Friendly and pleasant demeanor, courteous, self-motivated, and professional;
- Ability to work efficiently with mínimal supervision, independently and as part of a team;
- Ability to work different shift hours, and stand for an entire shift;
- Good PC skills; knowledge of Webrez Pro is preferred, but not a must;
- Previous Front Desk and/or Customer Service experience is preferred;
- Preferred to be age of majority which, in Alberta, is **18 years of age**.
- Relevant education and experience in a hospitality or tourism setting

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Every Weekend
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed
