**What We Are Hiring**
As a Server and Bartender, you are the face of Bar One. You will be greeting, seating, and serving our guests in a friendly and courteous manner. You will help by taking and delivering food and drinks orders, anticipating the needs of our guests, suggesting our meal items, receiving payments, and assisting other staff as needed. You will help to run the bar operations while upholding service and quality standards. Our goal is to provide total guest satisfaction.
Our team is made up of committed, caring, and energetic individuals who make every Bar One location the great and diverse place it is.
**What You'll Do**
- You will create a welcoming and quality experience for our guests by providing drinks and food orders
- You will ensure accurate and efficient service
- You will develop strong product and menu knowledge and inform our guests of any promotions
- You will help maintain the bar area stocked and clean
- You will help us achieve our mission by adhering to Bar One Brand Standards and internal policies and procedures
- You will perform other duties as required or assigned
**Who You Are**
- You have a minimum of 1 year bartending experience in a similar food and beverage environment
- You have a passion and knowledge of wines
- You are an effective communicator in English, both orally and in writing
- You are a team player, collaborative and attentive
- You are self-motivated, organized, and able to multitask effectively
- You can lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 50 lbs
- You can stand and walk throughout a 4 to 8 hour shift
- You must be able to legally work in Canada (as a citizen, resident or holding other current and valid work permit)
