**Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide one-on-one or small group English tutoring sessions for K-6 students.
- Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to individual student needs and learning styles.
- Assist students with homework, reading comprehension, writing skills, and language development.
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that motivates students to achieve their best.
- Track and report on student progress and provide feedback to both students and parents.
- Maintain effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience teaching or tutoring English to K-6 students.
- A strong understanding of English language fundamentals, including vocabulary, grammar, reading comprehension, and writing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, creativity, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of each student.
- A passion for working with young learners and helping them succeed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Previous tutoring experience in a group or one-on-one setting is a plus.
- Criminal background check required.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
