**Responsibilities**:

- **Strategic Planning**: Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy for farm machinery and equipment, aligning with the organization's objectives and budgetary constraints.
- Vendor Management: Identify and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers of farm machinery, establish strong relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance with quality standards and delivery schedules.
- **Market Research**: Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes in farm machinery and equipment, conducting market research to identify new products, suppliers, and cost-saving opportunities.
- **Budget Oversight**: Collaborate with finance and operational teams to develop annual budgets for farm machinery procurement, monitor expenses, and identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvement.
- **Technical Evaluation**: Work closely with farm managers and technical experts to assess the technical specifications, performance, and suitability of farm machinery and equipment for various farming operations.
- **Risk Management**: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with farm machinery procurement, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- **Documentation and Reporting**: Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and vendor communications, prepare regular reports on procurement performance, cost analysis, and inventory management for senior management review.
- **Training and Development**: Provide guidance and training to farm personnel on the proper use, maintenance, and safety protocols of newly acquired farm machinery and equipment.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in farm machinery procurement or agricultural equipment sales, with a superlative understanding of farming operations and equipment requirements.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software, with the ability to analyze data and generate reports.
- Knowledge of safety regulations, environmental standards, and compliance requirements related to farm machinery and equipment.
- Bachelor's degree in agricultural engineering, business administration, supply chain management, or related field will be considered an asset

Pay: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
