The Sales Representative is responsible for prospecting new clients, account management of existing clients, quote preparation, client visits, achieving profitably, accurate reporting and attending client/association events. The Sales Representative will manage existing customer base, grow customer portfolio through prospecting and leveraging existing relationships. Regular customer visits is the norm.

**RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Manage and expand existing client portfolio of 150+ clients
- Identify and solicit potential prospects
- Promote all Tomlinson products and services to identify value added sales
- Provide clients with relevant product information and appropriate uses
- Estimate and quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties and delivery rates
- Prepare and oversee preparation of sales contracts
- Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
- Review and adapt information regarding product specifications, competitors and market realities
- Accounting: Follows, tracks, oversees customer accounts including interaction with AR
- Collaborate with aggregate, asphalt, and quality operations personnel
- Insuring quality products are being delivered on time to customers
- Daily customer relationship management (CRM) using Salesforce
- Exceed all goals and objectives

**WORKING CONDITIONS**:

- Varies from office environment to customer offices and construction sites.
- Work will require occasional weekend and/or evenings.
- Position can cover multiple territories such as Ottawa, Kemptville, and/or Napanee.

**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**:

- A university degree or college diploma in a related field
- 5+ years experience in sales or in an occupation related to the industry
