**Key Responsibilities**:
**Junior Purchaser Duties**:

- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Monitor inventory levels to identify shortages and avoid overstocking.
- Execute daily and weekly purchasing activities, including creating and managing purchase orders.
- Track incoming product in transit and follow up with suppliers as needed.
- Verify accuracy of invoices against original purchase orders.
- Maintain accurate data related to lead times, prices and reorder points.
- Collaborate with shipping/receiving and production staff to ensure timely material availability.
- Assist in sourcing new or alternative suppliers as required.
- Support inventory cycle counts and year-end physical counts.
- Coordinate return of defective or incorrect supplies.
- Build product and supplier knowledge relevant to company operations.

**Freight & Brokerage Coordinator Duties**:

- Track incoming freight and coordinate delivery schedules with vendors and shipping/receiving teams.
- Prepare customs and border documentation for trailers crossing into the U.S.A.
- Create and manage NVIS (New Vehicle Information Statement) and shipping documents.
- Coordinate trailer and parts shipments between dealers and freight companies.
- Communicate with freight carriers and drivers to manage pickup and delivery logistics.
- Serve as a point of contact for freight-related inquiries across departments.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in purchasing, logistics, or a related field would be an asset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet tools.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with customs and shipping documentation is an asset.
- Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paces manufacturing environment.
