Altus Dental is a brand new modern dental practice coming soon to Altus, across from Peace Arch Hospital in White Rock, BC. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality care and ensuring patients have a positive experience. We aim to ensure our workplace is a pleasurable environment for employees and patients We are looking for like minded individuals to work alongside with us. We will be providing treatment ranging from general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign, oral surgery, and emergency dentistry.

Duties include (but not limited to):

- Preparing treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Sterilizing and disinfecting instruments and equipment
- Assisting the dentist chairside during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
- Instructing patients on postoperative and general oral healthcare
- Taking dental x-rays, physical impressions and digital impressions
- Maintaining accurate patient records

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in medical terminology
- Experience in dental assisting
- Familiarity with dental receptionist duties is a plus
- Ability to work with ClearDent software to update patient charts and booking patient appointments is an asset
- Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus
- Understanding of orthodontic procedures
