The team consists of social workers, a team lead, clinicians, and administrative professionals. Together, they are committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of children, and supporting families facing crisis. Services focus on child protection, mental health, and overall support for children and youth with complex needs. **The Role** In this role, you will provide essential administrative and program support in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include providing customer service, creening telephone calls, handling sensitive documents, and working within multiple ministry systems. You will interact directly with clients and families, offering calm, professional assistance while adapting quickly to changing priorities. The ability to multitask, work independently, and maintain professionalism is essential in supporting the team and the broader goals of child safety and well-being. **Qualifications**: **Education and Experience Requirements** - Secondary School graduation (Dogwood, GED) and 6 months related experience. Valid B.C. Class 5 driver’s licence.Months of related experience must be in each of the following: - Experience providing quality customer or client service, carrying out duties and responding to client needs in a professional manner. Experience working independently and as a team member with a multi-disciplinary environment and with other professional staff, client, and service providers.Preferences may be given to applicants with: - 6 months’ administrative experience working with vulnerable children and families in a human/social services setting. **About this Position**: This position has full time on-site requirements. There is currently have one auxiliary "as and when" position available until March 31, 2026. Please note: There is no guaranteed number of hours. An eligibility list may be established to fill future and current temporary as and when positions. A Criminal Record Check (CRC) and Criminal Record Review Act Check (CRRA) will be required.
