**Now Hiring: Strength Trainer - Sports-Études Program (Ottawa TFC)**

**Location**: Garneau High School (Orleans Dome), Ottawa, ON
**Position Type**: Part-time (3-4 times weekly during the school year between 1 and 4pm)
**Compensation**: $20-$30 hourly, based on experience

**About Ottawa TFC & Sports-Études**

Ottawa TFC is a nationally licensed youth soccer club, dedicated to player development,
competing at the highest levels in Ontario. Our **Sports-Études** program, in partnership with
**Garneau High School**, provides student-athletes with a high-performance training
environment that balances academics and elite soccer development.

We are currently seeking a **Strength Trainer** to work with our student-athletes in the Sports
Etudes Program at Garneau High School. This position will strive to improve their athletic
performance, injury prevention, and overall physical fitness.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Design and implement strength and conditioning programs tailored to soccer-specific

athletic development.
- Conduct dynamic warm-ups, strength training sessions, and mobility exercises.
- Monitor athlete performance, progression, and injury prevention strategies.
- Work closely with Ottawa TFC’s technical staff to align training with long-term
- development goals.
- Provide education on proper form, technique, and recovery strategies.
- Maintain a safe and positive training environment.

**Qualifications & Skills**
- Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), CSEP, or equivalent certification

preferred.
- Experience working with youth athletes, preferably in soccer or team sports.
- Strong understanding of strength training, mobility, and injury prevention.
- Ability to motivate and engage student-athletes.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- French language required.

**Schedule & Commitment**
- **Weekdays from 1 to 4pm** (aligned with the Sports-Études schedule).
- There is flexibility in building the schedule and curriculum, but a minimum
- availability of 2 days weekly for the 1-4pm slot is expected.
- Sessions take place at **the Orleans Dome (Garneau High School)**.
- Opportunity for additional training roles within the club.
