**Summary of Duties**:
Reporting to the Manager of Media, Brand and Reputation, the Videographer/Graphic Design Specialist Intern is responsible for supporting the visual and graphic design team with a focus on videography, photography, animation and digital campaigns for both internal and external audiences.

**Work Performed**:

- Support the creation of compelling visual content through video production, photography, and basic animation. This includes capturing footage and images, editing promotional and informational videos, and assisting with motion graphics to enhance storytelling across internal and external platforms. Strong creative and technical skills in visual media are essential.
- Delivers creative, original and thoughtful internal and external visual communication materials, including but not limited to: printed promotional materials, digital advertising, social media images, infographics, presentations, banners, displays, advertisements/posters, web site design, pamphlets, booklets, etc.
- Provides customer service by developing and presenting concepts and mock-ups related to graphic design projects to Service Areas.
- Researches and stays current on graphic trends and software and ensures copyright and privacy laws are adhered to as well as the requirements of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
- Assists with the sourcing and procurement of print and promotional suppliers and materials.
- Establishes and maintains an image library that includes photos, illustrations, and other graphic elements that are appropriate for use by Service Areas.
- Receives, prepares and processes print and reproduction requisitions and requisitions of graphic supplies including special media and photographic services.
- Performs related duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:
**Education**: Some previous education in Videography, Photography, Creative or Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or the equivalent.

**Experience**:
Interest in and some previous experience in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or the equivalent is strongly encouraged.

**Compensation & Other Information**:
$22.44/hour

This posting is for one (1) temporary full-time up to 15 weeks position.

Current hours of Work: Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid. Subject to change in accordance with business requirements.
