**Position Overview**:
Reporting to the Production Supervisor and taking direction from the area Lead Hand, the Laundry Shipper is responsible for laundry production and specifically performing assigned duties in Shipping Areas.

**Experience**:

- Previous related experience in a large institutional or commercial laundry environment preferred.
- Previous experience with recording and maintaining shipping records preferred.

**Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)**:

- Minimum Grade 10 education, Manitoba Standards, required.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Must be proficient in speaking, writing and reading English and have accurate mathematical skills.
- Must have the ability to take initiative, have great attention to detail and work independently with mínimal supervision required.
- Knowledge of computerized distribution systems preferred.

**Physical Requirements**:

- The incumbent is required to stand, walk, reach, bend, lift, push and stretch for sustained periods in order to perform tasks at a fast-pace for the entire shift.
- The incumbent must be able to meet or exceed minimum productivity standards established by WRHA Laundry Operations.
