The Machine Operator is required to ensure the safe, efficient operation, cleaning of and running adjustments for their machine(s). Responsible for the maintenance of prescribed quantity and quality of product produced. Other responsibilities include troubleshooting machine basic performance, making adjustments and calling for additional resources as required. This individual will be responsible for the operation of equipment for the manufacture of various products and will ensure all work performed adheres to all organizational standards as well as safety regulations and guidelines. This is a labour intensive position requiring individuals to perform repetitive tasks and stand for long periods of time.

PRIMARY FUNCTION (but not limited to):

- Follow all production procedures as instructed
- Operate machinery and make running adjustments as required; attend to equipment in the production process
- Understand and review the product through specified production process, recognizing areas of defect and taking appropriate actions to rectify them
- Perform all work to organizational standards to ensure final product meets quality standards
- Perform quality inspections as necessary
- Determine and report product and equipment malfunctions to the appropriate authority
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and assigned work area at all times

Salary increases after 400 worked hours.
