**WHAT YOU’LL DO**:
The Patient Transportation Attendant is responsible for transporting stable patients or assisting with those patients requiring nursing supervision during transport to destinations within the Hospital.

**WHAT YOU’LL BRING**:

- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Previous experience in a health care setting and/or in a customer services industry preferred
- Knowledge of radiation protection practices

**WHO YOU ARE**:

- This position involves transporting people
- Good organizational skills are required to prioritize tasks and accommodate unexpected interruptions to work flow
- Demonstrated ability to work as a team member and to work well independently and exercise good judgment when performing duties
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with staff, all members of the health care team, patients, patient family members and the general public
- Demonstrated ability to work with precision and accuracy
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple interruptions
- Good customer service skills
- Good written communication skills
- Demonstrated good attendance with the ability to maintain this standard
