IT Technical Consultant - D365 Migration

**Location**: Mississauga, ON (Hybrid)

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Requirements Gathering**:

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed functional and technical requirements for the migration to **Microsoft Dynamics 365** and **Microsoft Project Operations**.

**2. Solution Design**:

- Partner with Solution Architects to design comprehensive, end-to-end solutions within **Microsoft Dynamics 365 Financials** and **Microsoft Project Operations**.
- Define technical requirements for system configurations, integrations, and customizations.
- Ensure alignment of proposed solutions with **industry best practices** and the organization's strategic objectives.
- Contribute to the development of a migration plan, including **data migration** and **validation strategies**.

**3. Testing & Quality Assurance**:

- Review and provide input on technical testing plans, ensuring thorough **system integration**, **performance**, and **security testing**.
- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of the new ERP system meet organizational standards.

**4. Post-Migration Support**:

- Provide technical support post-go-live to ensure the stability and success of the newly implemented **Microsoft Dynamics 365** system.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise after the migration.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in **Computer Science**, **Information Technology**, or a related field.
- Minimum of **7 years** of IT consulting experience, with a focus on **ERP systems** (especially **Oracle** and **Microsoft Dynamics 365**).
- Proven experience in **requirements gathering**, **solution design**, and **system architecture** for ERP migrations.
- Hands-on experience migrating from **Oracle ERP** to **Microsoft Dynamics 365** or other similar ERP systems.
- Strong knowledge of **cloud-based ERP systems**, including **Microsoft Azure** and **Dynamics 365**.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with **system configuration**, **customization**, and **integration** within **Dynamics 365**.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an understanding of **financial** and **project management processes**.
- Relevant certifications in **Microsoft Dynamics 365** are an asset.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $150.00-$190.00 per hour
